People need a place to live, which is why people will put up with sub-optimal living situations like having roommates, crashing on a friend's couch, staying in a bad relationship, living with parents, living in an RV, or commuting from an hour away.
Plenty of bad alternatives to new apartments
Literally every vegan I've met in my life has told me "don't worry, I'm not like one of THOSE vegans" which makes me skeptical that those vegans even exist outside of parody
The whole "vegans are obnoxious" thing has always been clear projection.
I've never ordered meat at Chipotle or whatever and then got a lecture from a vegan about how bad I am. The judgement and the screeching indignation has always been targeted in one direction
I remember hearing Elon speak for the first time a decade ago. He was crazy popular on reddit, and I saw that he was doing a live event for solar city so I thought I'd check it out.
And my god... I knew high schoolers who were more comfortable in front of a mic. How this man has fans is baffling
Services were cheap because the people you were hiring were poor as shit lol
Spending huge portions of your income on your clothes, and you'd still only have one jacket, one pair of shoes, one "Sunday best" suit, and a few shirts.
A smartphone isn't a "distraction", it's absolutely essential for living life in the 21st century.
If the cost of phones was going up over the last 15 years you wouldn't be so dismissive of its pricing. You only dismiss it because the cost is going DOWN, which is the point being made here.
Who gives a shit about "college textbooks" compared to food and car payments lol
Get with the program, leftists stopped caring about the costs of higher education as soon as Biden started to do something about it.
I feel like when Bush talked about America being the greatest nation on earth, he didn't get nearly as much blowback as Obama did for it.
Wonder why... 🤔
Yup, when Far Cry 3 came out in 2012 it was the best looking video game I'd ever seen.
Nowadays, every video game looks objectively better but from my perspective it's not nearly as impressive. I get more sense of wonder from classic WoW than I do from games 10x the size and 1000x times the fidelity
The Ukraine War is the first major land war in Europe since WW2. It involves a strong-man dictator invading a smaller, adjacent neighbor in a nakedly blatant attempt to annex territory.
If Putin wants to avoid being compared to Hitler he should stop acting like him.
"I'm not interested in nationalism, therefore Russian nationalism doesn't exist"
What I'm saying is that the only thing which explains your pro-Russia, anti-Israel views is anti-semitism
Man, Jews really did draw the short end of the stick.
They got to be on both ends of the "blood libel" conspiracy theories, whichever one makes them look worse in the moment
Yeah see, this right here, this is the antisemitism part.
"It doesn't count as terrorism so long as the supposed victims aren't human!"
This is like the most anodyne statement you can expect from a country that's not involved with that conflict lol
"Terrorism bad, but also your 'war on terrorists' can't just be starving civilians"
Zelensky is. And he's a "Israel-lover", which doesn't take too much effort to read between the lines on that one.
bsky.app/profile/mike...
what part of "they both suck" in regard to Russia and Ukraine don't you get?

Zelensky is a israel-lover btw
That was the hostage situation where the Russian response was to just kill everyone, including the hostages?
I've seen fascists bring up that story to talk about how much they approved of it, but I've never seen a liberal be pro-Russia over that.

A big difference between now and like 20 years ago is that conservative elites used to not stew in conservative propaganda for the rubes like Limbaugh and would mostly read relatively legit news sources like WSJ.

Today it's all getting high on your own supply, all the time
Ben Shapiro tells Megyn Kelly that to avoid vile extremists like Nick Fuentes “the first thing people need to do is turn off X, which is poisoning brains and making people think not true things.” Yet, Shapiro continues to post there, often multiple times a day. youtu.be/tprng5mObQg?...

He thinks you need an ID to buy "groceries", which he considers to be an old fashioned term.
If he can't understand groceries then there's not a chance in hell he understands American healthcare coverage (which is something that even doctors struggle with sometimes)
Wasn't that his deal with NAFTA during his first term?
Just blow up the trade deal that a Democrat signed, make a "new" trade deal that's essentially the same thing, and then slap a fresh name on it.
People talk about Trump as a businessman and deal maker but I think he only understands branding
Well sure, that's just all technology.
You can see the "internet boosted" productivity gains following the exact same line.
