I get his point...but I think he also is emphasizing mine.

For a large swath of the US, it isn't the Proud Boys or various militia groups that activate their sense of threat (and, in turn, intolerance), it's pro-Palestinian groups, BLM, and LGBTQ activists.

We ignore this reality to our detriment.
