Scute Mob was one of my first, 'Favorite cards,' and I've always remembered its flavor text. THANK YOU for giving me the exact callback I wanted when I heard its name!

Re-potted my pinguicula collection onto some lovely rock garden dishes! Some carnivorous plants are just so cute!

Beautiful new plant to the collection! This dazzling complex hybrid is already so darn impressive, I can't wait for it to acclimate and resume pitchering!

Didn't think MagicCon Chicago would start by immediately knocking the drink out of @theasianavenger.bsky.social hand as he walked by, but it secured my unofficial tradition of him being the first Content Creator I bump into at a convention lol.

I still have more to work on, but it's coming together! Blooming Utricularia Longifolia is so beautiful for such an unassuming carnivorous plant.
I'm going to try and be more active now that we are through the holiday season.

So fresh and bright! Soon it will darken up to a beautiful burgandy.

My title for favorite plant in the collection moves from place to place as pitchers open, but I always come back to my Nepenthes Sibuyanensis x Veitchii for it's squat tubby size but beautiful striped peristome!

Oh, that red throat and such vibrant stripes! It's 8 inches tall, from the bottom to top of the lid, and it only opened up a few days ago!

This tiny tuber is actually a Corpse Lilly in its winter rest! I just aquired it from someone local who had some small offshoot tubers from her larger one. I'm excited to see it grow for the one giant leaf they make each year, but it will be at least a couple years before it blooms.

I will say, just having them amongst my others the humidity doesn't seem to matter all that much to them, it just seems to be getting the watering down. Pearl River Exotics has been using 100% pearlite and a tray, and I have 1 baby that I was losing till I tried that, and it has new growth now!

My current favorite carnivorous plant(CP) in my collection is this Nepenthes(N.) Sibuyanensis x Veitchii. It get so big and tubby, but has such a beautiful lip(peristome) to it. I've been adding more Sibuyanensis hybrids to my collection ever since I aquired this one.

The little toothy avocados are Cephalotus Follicularis! Australia's native pitcher plant! I have struggled with them in the past so I ordered a mature one finally lol. It seems to be doing well!

May as well post some things instead of just following! Other than MtG, my biggest hobby is my collection of Carnivorous plants that I have been acclimating to the conditions of our new house. It's a slow and arduous process but I find it rewarding. Leopard Gecko at the very end. His name is Fig.
