Fun reminder: the reuse of animation in old Disney cartoons saved no money, cut no corners, and in fact took EXTRA TIME.
They did it cause sometimes producers have bad ideas, then commit whole heartedly(crazy, I know)

CG is so crisp, and its the same issue with why high frame rate looks weird. The hard lines are jarring. When you take crisp lines, and put it on 2s, THE EFFECT GETS WORSE

Maybe this is normal in America, and I dont see it, but Japan is really comfortable with private companies taking over/running government facilities. (E.G. All the rails in Japan are privatized, but heavily subsidized by the government)
