btw if you're so petrified of doing a bad job that you can't even start, then what you need isn't advice on how to make comics. you need to learn to embrace being messy and bad at things and being okay with that because it's necessary, and actually it's GOOD. being messy is WONDERFUL

First time drawing someone else's character, a fun experience!
The incredible and talented @chloestarlingart.bsky.social is creating some artwork of my protagonist Astrid from my fantasy novel "The Witch At Number Seven" and it looks SO GOOD. I've never seen my characters brought to life like this before, I'm so excited! 🥰

I have a document with 100+ ideas. I need help to not to think of ideas, please (please? I can't make all these into stories).
I saw someone say AI is useful because it generates ideas. My dude, I'm full of ideas. I have docs and docs marked under 'ideas.' I have outlines and fragments of stuff I might work on. Trunked stories galore. Even if I continue to write a novel a year for the next 40 years I won't run out of ideas.
