I suspect aggressively, it did. Having studied the era in film and literature…people are always people, they know what's going on, but they also know the degree to which they are allowed to discuss it overtly…diminishing returns.

— voters got false information about candidates
— bad actors encouraged people not to vote
— anonymity protects but is also a vehicle for disinformation

Good point. After all, when one woman at the @dncstaffunion.bsky.social can WHOLLY OVERRIDE the will of the Voter because #ItsHerTurn (face of: misanderous misogyny as expressed in the “BernieBros” rhetoric—we were RIGHT, she’s UNELECTABLE BANK OWNED SHILL) “democracy” among @democrats.org is DOA.
This is a very important point. One they I have not always been good at explaining with this level of nuance and I think it’s important for people to understand.
