Chief among them: Kanzi was one of our subjects.
We KNOW that he could process NADs in spoken English, so what gives? This is not to say we should base what we think 'standard' bonobos can do on Kanzi, but rather that if even *Kanzi* doesn't perform in this task then we must think twice.
