The sad part is I know a lot of gov’t workers who got furloughed when Trump instigated a shutdown during his last administration who still voted for him a 3rd time.

The problem is that a lot of Democrats don’t really disagree with Trump’s policies. They just disagree with the packaging.

There’s the economy that the Investor Class experiences and the economy that the Working Class experiences. The numbers on Wall Street don’t matter to people who work 80 hours a week and still can’t afford rent.

It’s not insane. It’s amazing that so many jobs were created under Joe Biden, but if wages are still so low that most people can’t afford rent, then it’s not as much of an accomplishment.

Yeah, but I think it’s more that people are hurt, angry, and looking for someone to blame, and that point has gone over the heads of most Democrats for years now. There’s a reason that Bernie Sanders and AOC are still two of the most popular figures in the DNC.
