The Hand that Rocks the Cradle is maybe shy of a bold mess? I like a remake that takes wide swings, but this one is just feckless & weird.
I miss the star powered prestige trashy thrillers of the 90s, but we're never getting that era back.

Forgot how enjoyable this movie could be if they'd stop with the incessant music cue - relaxed silence- jumpscare sequences. Missed opp for a franchise chapter would be little Janice's evolution into a murder hippy.
