It's December and Ragnarok is wearing a dorky hat - it must be a special!

That's right: this December, we're once again participating in a month-long charity drive for the Starlight Children's Foundation to help brighten things for children suffering from illnesses!

Because I raised $100 for Starlight Children's Foundation, I'll be doing the Hot Chip Challenge at the end of my stream on November 2nd, around 8pm CET (2pm EST, 11am Pacific). This delay is because of things at work which I'd rather not jeopardize my voice for.

Despite appearances, I had quite a lot of fun with Outlast 2 yesterday, even though it scared the bejeebers out of me multiple times. I feel like a Spooky Saturday kind of thing could definitely become something in the future. ^_^

And now... something wicked this way cometh. It is Spooktober!

This month I will be taking a break from Banjo speedruns and instead put some effort into some horror games I've been wanting to play, along with some cozy variety gaming as well because I am a gigantic coward. 😅

A little late, but we hit $100 in total for the campaign! I am beyond thankful for the donations, as well as everyone hanging out, raiding and stuff. You all made this happen. 💙

Well, we didn't quite manage to beat the game during my part of the raid train, but it was fun!
Thanks to @1upgamingfestival.bsky.social for having me, and we managed to raise $20 for #StarlightChildrensFoundation which I then matched! Be sure to catch the others of 1UP during the rest of the week!

Alright, that break didn't last for as long as I thought it would. 😂 I'm happy to get back in the Banjo-Kazooie saddle for a bit. :)

So this ended as most challenge runs do: entirely preventably because of a missed input. 😅 Still, we're definitely making progress on the whole damageless thing.

I'm happy to announce that after a lot of ordeals, I've finally managed to beat Super Mario 64 for the first time ever! Now we're going to have to find something else to do for Whatever Wednesdays. 😅

I'll admit, I'm not a Star Wars fan. I do like my music, however. So happy Star Wars day or Dave Brubeck day, whatever tickles your fancy.

Second run ever, nearly 25 minute PB, and completely stationary on the leaderboard. 🤣

When you can't sleep, you do an offline run of a new speedrun category. That's how adulting works, right? (Banjo-Kazooie Any% on PAL N64 with virtually zero practice, but it's all in good fun!) It's all downhill from here, folks!
