I don't know who needs to hear this but sometimes a sketch is just meant to be a sketch and not a finished piece.
Not everything has to be a "finished" thing. Maybe the sketch IS the finished version of that thing. If you learned from it, took what you needed, it had its purpose fulfilled.

So scammers tracing over AI slop and selling it on vgen etc are now filming themselves drawing on their tablets as "proof".... by using chroma key to hide the layer they're tracing 🫠
