I recently ordered a new batch of cut paper to make notebooks from my local paper shop. Got the invoice today and it was almost $200 more than the last time I ordered a year ago. I knew it was going to jump, but it is still shocking to see the invoice. If you are curious it is for 60,000 5x7 sheets

Just resigned my lease for another year. It is going up by almost $100 a month. Good thing I recently got a raise that will cover it, but damn. Anyway, I am going to go back to making weird little magnets. Anything to give my brain a break. Here is one of my latest designs.

Prepping for my last holiday craft show of the season. Last night I made lots of magnets. It is very satisfying to see them all lined up. Only thing left for this batch is to actually attach the magnet to the back. I will just put on Muppet Christmas Carol and get it done in no time.

I have my first holiday craft show of the year this weekend and am so uncertain how it is going to go. 'Tis the season for existential dread. Especially this year. Are people going to feel like using shopping as therapy? How much do I need to make? (To be fair I ask this at every show.)

This holiday season, more than any other, it is important to support the local shops and artists you love. We have been struggling and many won't make it to 2025. If you really want them to stick around let them know. Share or engage their posts if you can't afford to buy anything. It means a lot.

My whole business changed with the 2016 election. I had always had feminist items, but Nov. 2016 the requests for new items grew. So did the desire for sweary things and I went fully in that direction. No regrets. These things bring me joy. I hope they will bring others some joy too.

I brought my new Medieval Marginalia line out at a show recently and was so thrilled that so many people found them as funny as I do. Also, the number of people who said "I'm just a baby!" in the right voice brought me so much joy. I can't wait to work on more of these.
