This article doesn’t quote a single New Yorker whose supposed nerves were struck by Cuomo’s attack.

Everyone quoted who is not directly employed by Cuomo or Cuomo himself - including a real estate lobbyist and Cuomo-backer Ritchie Torres - says it’s a dumb attack and a bad policy.

Today we learned Andrew Cuomo is directly coordinating with Donald Trump, even as this President sends masked agents to rip our neighbors off the streets and guts the social services so many New Yorkers rely on.

It’s disqualifying and a betrayal of our city.

I recall the lads agreed: even a trace, a suspicion of racism in public life was utterly unacceptable and it all had to be annihilated to the subsoil with nuclear weapons. Also, here’s a BBC and Times pundit doing more fash crank racism in one tweet than most humans will do in their entire lives.

I think about redevelopmenet so often, I'm boring. I wonder how to get people excited about it without talking about it. Something to do with stability leading to Nice Things.

Thinking about some classic Black Literature this morning. What ever happened to the lore from the progressive generation of African-American writers? Rediscover one.

So Bluesky really is the Irony machine at times. Here I am wondering about my keyboard and who else remembers the old days of typing speed conversations. i wonder if that's ever trending again, as we say now.

Online grocery shopping. I did it many years ago. Now a friend has me doing it again. It's... Better now? I guess we have more stores from which to choose. But quality of produce will keep B&M places going. I still say it will never be cheaper than the other way.

What a cool summer this is shaping up to be. I hope it lasts. I like the rain. Everything is green.

If Caesar Chavez, Angela Davis and Jim Morrison walked into my bar tomorrow night, what would be the topic of conversation? I'm the bartender at an upscale burger bistro.

High school was a long time ago, for me. I think that's why media criticism is so hard to do right now. The administration: dumb jocks and bullies, the press: the mean girls. I went to college so that I would never have to care about those two groups ever again.
