@zoetwodots.bsky.social have you ever seen a research encounter stack get fully wiped before? I know it has a max and will start removing the oldest as new ones get added but never had the whole thing wipe before and Niantic is basically like "you shouldn't have trusted our app".

When considering the Iran situation, it's important to recognise we're dealing with a fundamentalist regime that utilises proxies, destabilises neighbours, and terrorises and imprisons citizens to whom it is ideologically opposed.

I’m pretty sure that if some CEO got fired from his job & on his way out he told a mob of crazies to show up with zip ties, flag poles and tasers and to bash in the windows & smear poop on the walls, that he wouldn’t get hired back a few years later, but what the hell do I know.
