Genuine curiosity: If an American flag is flying unattended (say like at ChickFilA on a Sunday), is it illegal to run it down the pole and re-fly it upside down to indicate the distress our country is in? (I know not to let it hit the ground....) Oh wait, asking for a friend...😉
