Trying to keep these going, one a week. 22x22 inches, watercolor, pastel, and collaged photo. There’s an art historical reference here but it’s probably too subtle!

My work is featured in the current issue of “EcoTheo Review.” This is a literary and visual arts magazine that gathers together creative work that operates in the intersection (or overlap) of ecology, spirituality, and culture.

I’ve been trying to make one of these a week. They are 22 inches square and each one starts with watercolor but they go all kinds of places from there. The third photo is how the group of them is going along.

2 more “Sonoran Desert Stories”. 22x22”, the left one is watercolor, pastel and gold leaf with a bunch of cutting and gluing, the right one is watercolor, charcoal and collaged cactus thorns. It’s hard to see the thorns so I added a detail shot of that one.
