Many Americans claim the don’t want to spend money on foreign aid because we should be “helping our own people.” Yet, when asked to help our own people, they don’t want to do that either. They actually cheer on these cuts. Selfishness hides behind rugged individualism.

Florida is ending most child labor protections because they’re deporting so many immigrants. If these immigrants are really “taking our jobs”, why do we have to rely on children to replace them? Where are the adults who wanted these jobs?
