Hey so this sucks, actually. Obviously Hammond is waaaay out there but oddballs is what made overwatch iconic. Tracer is an oddball! Winston too! All the heroes are oddballs. More unironic Soldier76 isn't want people want from overwatch. They want big personalities that explore worldbuilding.

I can understand the staff being the tech that creates the fire.
but the comic shows element manipulation scenes with no staff used.
Is it just tech implants, similar to Vishkar tech-arms or Illari's solar threading?

Yeah it is unfortunate. I understand the attempt the writer made, but the comic portrays Wuyang working SO hard to "earn" conditional love from his family as "heroic" which is... bleak. It doesn't feel heroic, it feels disempowering, especially when it is antithetical to Symmetra's story arc.

Pharah grew up around overwatch, it's confirmed I the lore. Again, even pics show this. Pharah was inspired by overwatch to enter her career, her mom didn’t want that for Fareeha. Her whole arc is about that.

The fact the arm was updated, shows that care was put into making the picture accurate enough, and NOT a retconned artwork like the medal awards going to mercy in that one lineup.
There are also pictures of Pharah, Cass, and Mercy younger.
Retcon it so they meet as adults and the ship is fine.
