Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is easily the best of the trilogy. Nothing but the strongest emotions, characters, and action. I have unwavering faith in this creative team's ability to deliver and can't wait to rewatch this movie on loop until Sonic 4 comes out.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a very interesting character to me because he's the only character in fiction that I can think of whose primary canon timeline is the "bad ending au".

It seems to be continuing the "dark, pseudo self-serious, buddy comedy" vibes from the previous two movies.

When not filming on the set of Planet of the Apes the cast split into groups based on the type of monkey they were playing. They were not told to do this nor did they realize they were doing it. Simply wearing a different mask was enough to divide them.
