Biggio had a good second half of the year, but don’t think he’ll be more than a super-utility guy for his career. The Varsho trade is more about what we gave up - could be an all-star catcher for the next decade.

A little harsh?! He is an absolute killer - top 75 of all time player. We also don’t know what he is saying behind the scenes, but has been a great teammate and loyal to his small market team through his career. Also, shooting ages well. I don’t think it happens, but give him props.

I’ve never said this team is as close as that one, but there is a lot of revisionist history taking place as well. Kawhi was by no means a sure thing when they dealt for him and the 2018 Raptors (pre-Kawhi) weren’t a serious threat. See prior year sweep by Cavs.

I definitely don’t think they are as good as that team, but I’m just at an impasse with this current team. They are stuck between winning and rebuilding, so at least this is picking a lane!

You don’t think a package around OG, Trent, salary filler, and picks gets it done? Including Siakam doesn’t make sense to me as you would need to be in win-now mode after getting Dame.

They traded for Gasol after getting Kawhi and got Green in the Kawhi deal. They could make more deals after this or get more in this deal. You are also skipping over some current good players … Trent, Schroeder, Dick, Precious

Development is rarely linear and last year was a bit of a disappointment. However, I suspect he has been putting in work and will have a bigger role with no FVV. I think he’ll have the keys often. #nba
