FWIW- this is not just one of those meta convos reporters have among ourselves. Non-journo friends who have watched these videos lately have started asking me wtf is going on with my industry. We are public servants. The public holds us accountable. And courage builds public trust in journalism.
I can’t believe people in the room don’t push back. It doesn’t matter if he’s the president, part of holding him accountable is standing up to his bullying— especially if he’s doing it right in front of your face
