Every year for NYCC I write a new one shot for my visiting nerds. I went all out this year. I painted a ton of minis & terrain, I even recorded a soundtrack. I ended up running the game 3 times over the course of the month as more folks heard about it and wanted in. Here’s some pics!

Just finished this group shot from my last campaign, an Elder Scrolls based adventure. We saved the world from a new evil god taking over, but destroyed the continent of Morrowind in the process. So, let’s call it a draw. My Nord Paladin, Salvatore Fancipantaloones, didn’t seem to mind that outcome.

I heart🫀the EOD bot in Battlefield. I would have paid real money to hear the two guys trying to fix the damage I was causing and it wasn’t working.

There’s nothing I love more in Battlefield than shooting down helicopters. I got really good at it in BF5, and it seems the new version (BF6) has a similar touch. Soooo satisfying.

We also played a Conan game with current Conan writer Jim Zug. That was a high point for sure. I didn’t get any pictures tho. We made it home with bellies full of adventure, bratwursts, and swag. A great trip.

We played several Marvel Games both old school FASERIP & the new Marvel Multiverse game (with the games creator, which was great). We also saw several Dragonborn.
