Health insurance companies are not raising the rates. They have always been high. It is just that the government is no longer covering part of the costs. The ACA premiums are high due to adverse selection. Since the individual mandate was removed, healthy young people don’t buy the coverage.

The biggest issue is that half of the people in the US don’t know what “hypocrisy” means.
