In that case, I'd say he maybe shouldn't have included it in his comic. Overall though, I dont think anyone bringing up loss is making fun of miscarriage. It's one of the most brutal things someone can suffer. I think it's more a criticism of him as a person, someone who reduces women to props

I think part of why it's so remembered is because a lot of readers thought he was trivializing it. Because he'd reduced the women in his comics to "girl gamers are hot" and never any more depth. And then, in this moment of huge trauma, still never showed what it was like for her
