I think what you are describing is community/civic center. Something like the neighborhood run garden but mostly indoor space when the weather is bad.

The best advice I ever received was about my ex-wife. It has applications in many places. We begin with “she’s irrational”. Why do you keep expecting a rational response and worse why do you let it ruin your calm when you don’t get a rational response?
