Apropos Elon, I've been worrying about his assertion that: "Things seem fairly obvious to me that are clearly not obvious to most people... I can see the truth of things and others seem less able to do so"

I'm finding it hard to imagine a truly intelligent person saying anything like that.

I developed a serious allergy to social media last year from the Twitter muskiness. I found some breathing space as @bidmead@mstdn.social but my impulse to share short prose essays has atrophied. Or I may be being chilled into self-censorship. Perhaps I can investigate that here on BlueSky.
