Dad had a 1971 1600 SL in metallic brown with gold pinstripes. Happy days, remember burning my legs on the vinyl seats in the summer!

Dad had this exact car, it was a thing of beauty. Handled like a much smaller car, made a fantastic noise and was entirely fault free for the 12 years he owned it. Just wish I had kept it.
