I realized if I take the tail and ears off, hes just straight up a sexy X. Without the tail and ears hes below 70k triangles, so I could easily make good and poor avatars with him for when I'm at an event that requires either. You know what, screw it, this is just a new avatar varient I'll use.

I ended up quitting Silksong before I even got to act 2. Not only because of the stuff you brought up, but the game strongly ensitivises grinding thanks to roasaries only dropping off of specific enemies and generally aren't common. I hate grinding so much. The way healing works is stupid too.
