Yeah! Thank you! But I wasn't sure I was looking for a cartoonish look in the first place, haha!

Just kinda... realized that it's probably what I should be going for :v

you should prioritize getting better

but while you get better you can still do organizational planning and data gathering for your projects

that's something I do, simply do what I can :v
resting is important too though

Yeah, these are good ideas too! I'll have to think about it, thank you!

I really hope you can find some work! I wish I could help but it ain't an option for me at all :c

looks pretty good! :p

True, I considered hiding the upper arms and legs to avoid clipping and offer more flexibility for the cloth anim, I did that with a previous model that had a skirt

But this open cloth shape makes it easy to see the body underneath, so not sure if I can! But extra bones for the cloth? That's a yes

My first thought is making the bird slide to the side via some input, equivalent to leaning in a FPS game. No clue how that would actually feel, still it may allow the player to dodge sharply sideways without changing their camera rotation, perhaps? Auto dodging could be an accessibility setting.

Those sounds like all great approaches! The most difficult part would be figuring out what works best for my project, within its goals and constraints :v

I'll make sure to check out everything you said! Thank you!

Yeah, thanks! I did something similar with a combined approach where I have the cloth partially weight influenced by the body but it also has it's own bones for loose ends or just at the top to adjust the shape in weird situations.

Still feels tedious but hopefully I'll figure out what I need
