... big picture: what we successfully built as Americans in the beginning, when it went wrong (spoiler alert... many times), & how she sees we are responding in a hopeful way. Her optimism about this country's future as a force for good helps to keep us going. Also... kayak whenever possible.

One of the lessons we're all learning is that "No" is powerful. No thank you to self-invited guests, No to 12 dishes at Thanksgiving, No to gifts at Christmas. No lets the light in so the love can come out.

I've been happy with the very boring, simple, but consistent US Mobile. I'm totally going with low-drama companies now. Like Bank of the James, for another example. Lord, they even PICK UP THE PHONE.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I had high hopes for this upgrade. It would be great to hear more as you continue your trip.

But we've stopped relying on the press for anything true, right? It *was* too close to comfort, which makes it incumbent on those of us who were relieved & joyous about his victory to double our efforts for the campaigns that follow. He won. We needed that to pick ourselves back up & fight. We must.
