Stage haunter, writer, Addick. Attention All Shipping live show coming to a theatre near you as long as you're near a theatre where it's on.
All set for tonight’s absolute ship show at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells. Some tickets left if you fancy it.

One of my favourite ever absolute ship shows last night at the magnificent Royal Theatre in Northampton. What a venue, just beautiful, and a fantastic crowd.

Hard cheese.

Friends fear he’s beaming his big stupid face onto a massive screen again.

Thank you Launceston! Up early now to drive from Cornwall to Hampshire where in a triumph of planning I’m doing two two-hour shows at The Spring Arts Centre today after a four-hour drive. Evening’s long sold out, still a few seats for the matinee.

Frankenstein. Overwrought clumsy mishmash of pointless subplots that fizzle out and excruciating worthiness. About 40 minutes too long into the bargain. Also couldn’t really get past this:

I had this saga the other week.

If you see this, post four female characters you love.

Cracking evening at the Mills Observatory’s 90th birthday in Dundee last night. Got to see Saturn and its rings looking close enough to strap on a pair of roller skates and do a couple of circuits.

I mean, as a venue this is hard to beat…

It's a matinee bonanza, it seems - the evening show at The Spring in Havant on 6 November sold out sharpish so there's now the opportunity to see the show in the afternoon and still be home in time to eat your dinner in front of Eastenders. thespring.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/...

The Attention All Shipping show at Otley Courthouse on 28 November has sold out so quickly we’ve added a matinee. I know! Lots of people realising a longstanding ambition to see me in court, it seems. otleycourthouse.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/...

Heading into the weekend like Jon Pertwee in ‘The House That Dripped Blood’.

Stopped off at Whitby on the way home because you can’t not stop off at Whitby. My gothic novelist ancestor would have been delighted.

Two fab sold out shows last night and tonight in Stafford and Stamford (calling this The One Letter Different Tour). Great audiences both. Lots of love for the shipping forecast in the rooms.

Delighted to have played the beautiful Theatre Royal Wakefield last night. What a beaut of a place. An 1890s Frank Matcham design, a gem in the centre of the city.

Incredible show by Sabine McCalla in Glasgow tonight. Absolutely spellbinding.

Toured the home of one of my literary heroes today - Laurence Sterne’s Shandy Hall in Coxwold, North Yorks. Hung with the man himself afterwards. Kinda. Thank you @lsternetrust.bsky.social, ‘Tristram is the fashion’ and always will be.
