Maximum monoculture 😓

Guessing this is old. On BC 15+ yrs ago if you made like 35k+? a year you had to pay MSP. It's been gone for a while now or more correctly I believe employers have to pay it now?
Either that or the $14 was an extended medical cost paid to an employer for things like dental coverage, massage etc.

Actually any mint works. I had them coming on my patio eating tomatoes and parsley. Instead the following year I planted mint and an Artemisia (which I trim and leave the the edges) and they have stopped. They also tend to go where they had luck before, so it's important to but deterrence there.

Vancouver actually has a year round outdoor farmers market! Still lots of selection even at this time of year (2 weeks ago I got living lettuces, garlic, carrots potatoes etc etc!!)

For a week I had a rare bird hanging out in my neighbourhood. One morning I woke up and opened the blinds to find a dozen people with cameras taking pictures of my patio and the bird. Felt like the paparazzi was in town 😜
