It could be Eastbourne. The dome- shaped roof in the background looks similar to the domes at the entrance to the pier. And the bandstand (not shown in this picture) is roughly in the right location relative to the pier

#pusb Why is the Coventry Evening Telegraph using 'old traffords' as a unit of measurement. Shouldn't it be CBS Arenas. Does anyone know the conversion rate between old Traffords and CBSs?

I decided to digitise the very first pieces of journalism that I ever got published- which was in a long-forgotten music paper called Spiral Scratch. I forgot to put them away and the cat came and threw up all over them. Which, I think, was overly harsh criticism.

Sunday morning used to involve opening the Guardian app and selecting The Observer. Today it's no longer there - no Kitty Empire, no Philippa Perry. A sad day.

Wonderful day yesterday- made West Brom look very average. Just want to congratulate everyone involved in the Sillett and Curtis statue. Brilliant likeness and artist Douglas Jennings has also managed to inject life and joy into the bronze #pusb
