It wasn’t intended to be a disrespect of anyone just that the fast track for Canada only mentions developer not cyber security or anything else. And if I recall correctly it was specific developers.

Well I wasn’t really calling you a standard IT guy. I was simply stating that an IT guy isn’t what they are looking for. If you are not a developer you are not on their fast track. And the list for fast track doesn’t mention cyber security. You developer skills are likely enough to get there.

Canada isn’t as easy as it was in the 60s. You must have a job lined up and the process is 18 months unless you have one of the needed skills. Standard IT is not one. Developer/programmer is a fast track if you can do that but writing small exploits really isn’t at the lever they want.

And you don’t seem to understand that they argue that everything a president does is an official act. If you have any imagination at all you would see that even Trump banging a 13 year old is an official act of educating the youth or some other lame excuse.

What is democratic leadership going to do. They have the power to effect change. Sure we can protest but ultimately they need the will to do something.

But honestly that is still protected as fair use even if they did. Like artist that make images of Obama made up of many smaller pictures. The smaller pictures are copyrighted but they are transformed into something new which makes it fair use. I would love to see how courts decide this.

I don’t think that is the case for all of them. I have seen many AI images that don’t appear to be elements from other images. I hate them because I feel like most are passed off as real when they are not. The wood carving ones are examples that are not elements of other images.

I never thought the system of checks and balances would be dependent on if anyone would enforce the system. Even if a judge finds them in contempt who will enforce the arrest warrant.

I would contact Rossmann Group and see what they think first. They are very honest and charge a reasonable rate. Some of the date recovery services are ripoffs. But follow the 321 rule for backups.

So if a human paints a scene are they not painting in a style they were taught by other painters? There is a reason you can copyright just your expression of an image and not the idea that a horse can be painted. So I need more convincing.

Gee why would he care about rare earth minerals? It couldn't be lithium for Muskrats batteries could it?I do agree that we need to develop our own sources since China has them mostly tied up either by owning them or contracts in Africa. National security issue to be able to make our own electronics

I get they are coming from a good place but I aways have a default with things like this that they know what they are doing and it is non of my business. I guess if you said you were drinking bleach to get rid of covid I might say something but I eat popcorn every night for desert is not that level
