Took a walk in the Laguna near our home this morning. Got my 10,000 steps and strolled through our favorite tunnel of love. So grateful to have acres of beauty just a 10 minute walk from our back door. Celebrated 57 years of marriage last week. Oh what a lucky man I am.

It was a pretty good size. Already formed. About 3 ft tall with three branches spreading out about 4 ft. We’ve let it go wild regretfully. If I knew what I was doing and motivated I could probably restore it.

We paved our driveway last November. These two daffodils have persevered and are fulfilling their dharma. Our dharma, perhaps, is to push through the times we find ourselves in and fight our way through these times and bloom.
