If you don’t already, I highly recommend following Ken Klippenstein to stay informed on U.S. National Security, and the attacks against American Citixens.

Also, if you haven’t already, reading Project Esther is a MUST. It’s the follow up to Project 2025.

🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read.

He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords

Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

There we go. From the New York Times: “But according to a person familiar with the situation, a Bukele aide placed the two glasses with cherries and salted rims on the table in front of Mr. Van Hollen and Mr. Abrego Garcia in the middle of their meeting in an attempt to stage the photo.”

“The FDA may choose not to publicize an outbreak, including when the cause is unknown or when officials are still working behind the scenes with the companies responsible”

This feels like the food borne illness equivalent of the disastrous covid policy “if we don’t test there’s no pandemic”
A deadly E. coli outbreak hit 15 states, but the FDA chose not to publicize it
The outbreak linked to romaine lettuce killed one person and sickened at least 88 more, including a 9-year-old boy who nearly died of kidney failure.

Use the 5 Calls App to call your Representatives every day.

Ask them when children at school be left alone?

Why is "Homeland Security" investigating First Graders?

Why won't they let their names or badges to be recorded?

Will these children receive "Due Process?"

Glad House Dems are demanding a full briefing—because immigration agents showed up at L.A. elementary schools, and DHS lied about it.

Watch the video. Hear the truth from L.A.’s superintendent. Then ask why the hell Homeland Security is targeting kids.

Don’t let this go!!!

The old saying of "all govts lie," seems so very quaint:

"Netanyahu blew Macron off, saying there would never be a Palestinian state...a reward for terrorism...[and] the Oslo...Accords of 1993...promised a Palestinian state by the end of that decade"

Somehow missed this 2022 UK paper exploring responses to radical right parties (RRP) and whether accommodation - i.e. "beat" them by repeating a version of their tale actually worked electorally.

Short version: Nope.

NEW: One important thing to understand was that the US economy was trending bad *before* the tariff announcement. The horrors to come are being placed atop a rickety foundation. And some warning signs of a true collapse are present.

The Economic Consequences of the Tariff War
The economy was already stalling out before Liberation Day. A trade war on the entire world will only make everything worse.

Major alert: Montana may be about to pass a major anti-trans bill that charges parents with felony endangerment of a child if their child is on trans youth care.

It would apply to parents just passing through the state, visiting.

Would be the first law of its kind to pass anywhere.

Vote is TODAY.

I just spoke with Principal Cook about today's protest, having Tom Homan living in the community, and maintaining hope that her students who ICE stole will be returned.

Story to come on The Handbasket: www.thehandbasket.co/subscribe
Sackets Harbor, NY is so small that there’s one pre k-12 school with 475 students. Three of those students were disappeared by ICE.

Here is a statement published today by school principal Jaime Cook:

"There has been no repeat of the 2020 August electricity outages now that the state’s battery capacity has grown so much. It just needs to grow six-fold to enable 100% renewable electricity."

NEW: There's no reason to act like Trump is pursuing a trade policy or an industrial revitalization strategy.
These are just sanctions, imposed to intimidate countries and companies into submission like they're universities or law firms. They're what a mob boss would do.

They’re Not Tariffs, They’re Sanctions
Stop trying to place coherence on a policy that’s really just a mob boss breaking legs and asking for protection money.

I've really become enamored with a strong Yorkshire tea brewed with cardamom, fennel, clove and saffron. That particular tea blend really lends itself to spicing.

Cis (non-trans) people are the main users of gender-affirming treatments

I've never seen a GC person argue against this

If you only have an issue when trans folk do it, that is a YOU problem
