So far, the judge seems to think Bondi’s order is too broad, but what DC wants is too narrow. Basically, POTUS can ask MPD to help ICE, but they can’t commandeer the entire MPD - even if it’s just for 30 days. She’s encouraging them to settle so she doesn’t have to issue a TRO.
Let me guess: Trump announces again that he is president and he has full control of everything and he can take over the MPD anytime he wants and the court is having none of it.

So the POTUS is using the National Guard to take over the capital of the USA.
What fascinates me is that the VAST majority of the US population is still just carrying on as if there is nothing unusual about what he's doing.
This is why I support building up Canada's military ASAP.
