Found my GameBoy Micro recently after a long time, and it still works! But the original battery was toast. 45 minutes of gameplay tops. Time to fix that! Picked up an aftermarket battery that’s actually a little boost over the original’s capacity, 600mah vs. 460mah on the stock one.

$5 thrift store find the other day!! Nikon Coolpix L30 point-and-shoot digital cam from 2014. In incredible shape, still works great! Took it with on a hike to test it out, actually has very respectable performance even for today at its full 20mp setting:

Why are they inviting Marty O’Donnell to the 25th Anniversary “Halofest 2026” event after the way he’s been acting? Apparently he’s pretty much always been an insufferable egotistical douche which is why he got fired from Bungie in the first place. Might as well invite Notch to the next Minecon too.

I’ve been listening to the new Charlie Puth single Changes on repeat. Musically it feels like an 80s or early 90s Phil Collins song that could have appeared in a Disney animated feature from that time and I l over it so much. The video is just as nostalgic, like the practical effects and claymation.

So love, hate, or are indifferent towards Taylor Swift and her music (I’m mostly indifferent, but Folklore and Evermore are pretty good), apparently Life of a Showgirl got a special edition release exclusive to… ITunes?? That’s interesting because iTunes seemed to be stagnating for a long time.

First new physical game I’ve bought right near launch in I don’t know how long! Think I’m going to do this more from now on. Might even drop my Xbox Game Pass subscription to Basic and just buy my games physical if possible, just makes it all more deliberate and tangible.
