It meant so much to stand up with family and friends yesterday at the Charlottesville #NoKings protest. It was hot, it was humid, but there was camaraderie and a real sense of purpose that carried us through (along with lots of water!).

“Peanuts” is what Trump callously calls the multi-million-dollar cost of a military parade on his birthday. Guess what else is full of peanuts? A lifesaving food paste that’s no longer reliably making its way to malnourished children because of Trump funding cuts. #USAID

On Friday, I shopped at Costco (IYKYK), on Saturday I donated to the ACLU to help protect free speech, and today I'm asking Senators not to confirm those three wildly dangerous nominees. The #resistance is real.

One of my favorite things is when my dog wags her tail in her sleep. Happy dreams? I hope so, and it was a peaceful way to start the morning.
