I removed a drunk wasp from atop my hummingbird feeder today. This was obviously terrifying but WORTH IT. THE HUMMINGBIRDS HAVE ARRIVED. Also I have now wasp-proofed the feeder, hopefully.

I used to love baking, but haven't done it in forever. I had a blast making these lil guys. The decorating clearly got a bit unhinged.

Okay, not the exact thing, but a book that happens to be on my desk right now (because I think it's cool): Atlas of Prehistoric Animals by Radek Malý/Petr Modlitba. Situates animals in time from the Cambrian to the Holocene. Some fossil talk but it's not the main focus.
