2025 has been one shitty year, and October has been brutal:
A very good friend had a massive heart attack, then a week later his dad had a massive stroke, and they think his mom had a minor one!
My brother diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.😭
Only good thing:
Blue Jays are in the World Series!

I bought King Crimson's first album because I loved the cover, hadn't heard them before. Luckily, I liked the music.

Calgary was having a clear air summer (although very wet in July) until last Friday. The wind shifted , now coming from the north and bringing particulate smoke from the forest fires. My only allergy is wood smoke. So using a puffer and a mask to go outside.

Too bad this wasn't available when his ancestors came to the shores of America; it would have been one less evil person to deal with.

Beneath the waves, male pufferfish become underwater artists. Using only their fins, they meticulously carve massive, geometric sand circles on the ocean floor—some over six feet wide.

But this isn't just for beauty—it's a mating ritual.
