A girl knows nothing. She's just trying to figure stuff out.

Originally from Hanoi. Proud graduate of DC Public Schools. Financial analyst.
When the President said DC looked like a war zone, he meant the East Wing of the White House.

It looks like the scene of a terrorist attack.

Is it symbolic or not that Trump is destroying the workplace of the First Lady and replacing it with a ballroom?

Do they want women to go back to the kitchen? Can we poison them this time?

Did you know early men were accessories for women? They were used to defend territory and for procreation.

I'm shocked by the disparity in life expectancy within the US. To oversimplify, people in blue states live 10 years longer. A whole county of people in South Dakota are only expected to live to 66.8 years old.

How will these numbers change if/after the regime goes through with gutting healthcare?

I take it back. Hegseth's mom is ok. His behaviors are on him.

That unhinged speech Trump gave yesterday, announcing to the world that the US no longer lives in reality or is a country of law and order, brought down inflation if 80% of your budget is international travel.

I have never seen a DC-London flight for $200.

Britain and its allies have only recognized Palestine because their citizenry are flooded with foreigners.

As opposed to Marco Rubio, whose parents came over from England on the Mayflower.

I don't understand the H1B EO.
- Is the $100,000 fee before or after the lottery?
- Am I reading this right, that this only applies to people outside the US and not, say, international students already in the country?
- Expect corruption. E.g. individuals, companies that kowtow don't have to pay?

The golden visa EO is the weirdest government document I have ever read. It's one thing to charge a $1 million fee. But this is asking for an "unrestricted gift" aka bribe to be made to a fund Congress presumably has no oversight over.

This is public. What do the private deals even look like?

Folks, hit Disney where it hurts, theme parks. It's so easy not to spend $5-10k right now on something that ruins your kids' future.

If you can, take them to free DC museums that are probably going away soon.

Does anyone know who the artist for this is?

Time to stop buying Ben & Jerry's. It's just a soulless Unilever company now.

I'm too afraid to make jokes. 'cause people in the regime make them real.

The Windsor Welcome. Trump likes big displays of himself, right?

(They said) 100,000 people poured into London for a far-right march. Steve Bannon gave a speech. Nationalism, anti-immigration, "free speech" are all being conflated with extreme ideologies. What's going to stop this dangerous rhetoric?

And any movie recommendations? I'm not going out this weekend.

Any recommendation for a Russia/military analyst I should be following? Russia can't possibly win a conventional war against NATO, so what exactly is it doing?

Meanwhile, from my friend in Europe. Just a reminder to Americans that this is the normal kinda things people go on strike for in a democracy.

God has indeed forsaken us. I mean, he flooded the planet over the sins of this many people.

A forced gynecological exam is sexual assault. Now institutionalized by the US government. Paid for by tax payers. Excuse me while I go throw up.

This is someone's 19 year old daughter.
