If someone had told me this morning that, today, I would see an adult Black-crowned Night Heron giving outlandish views on a rocky foreshore, in broad daylight, on a glorious sunny day in the UK, I would have seriously questioned what medication they were on 😂. A superb county ✅.

A Kookaburra has been spotted living wild in the Suffolk countryside.

A spokesman for Suffolk Wildlife Trust said it was first spotted about nine years ago, and "seems to have made itself quite at home in Suffolk".
