I wonder what was the bribe.
in the midst of our supposed campaign against Venezuelan drug traffickers the President of the United States has chosen to pardon the Former President of Honduras, freeing him from his long prison sentence earned for trafficking more than 400 tons of cocaine into the United States

I would call Pete Hegseth a war criminal, but we aren’t at war. He’s just a mass murderer.

If you’re an institution in civil society it is exceedingly important to realize:

We are making lists
given how unpopular Trump is, it’s insane that civil society/universities/law firms are still asking themselves “how do I stay on Trump’s good side” rather than “how do I avoid facing consequences for complying with Trump’s illegal demands”
New Gallup poll shows Trump's approval hit a new low for his second term:
-36% approve
-60% disapprove

His approval among Republicans went from 91% in January to 84% in November

So, troops were sent to DC to support law enforcement and now law enforcement is going to guard the troops sent to help them? www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
D.C. police to begin patrolling with National Guard after fatal attack
If enacted on a long-term basis, the change would significantly shift the way National Guard troops have worked with law enforcement in the District since their arrival.

To be explicit, we executed a German U-Boat commander who said he had to sink lifesaving gear / “inadvertently” kill survivors because it might give away his position, thereby potentially resulting in the loss of his submarine.

We executed multiple members of that crew.
Heinz-Wilhelm Eck might have something to say about this one.

It is underrated how much of the fact that the Trump administration is constantly online and posting at all hours is because they have 0 ability to have recreation in Washington D.C. The city rightfully treats them like occupiers.
Stephen Miller is, and has always been a "Massive Whiny Little Bitch". He will be the first to bail out of here come January 21st 2029 or sooner (If impeachment happens), exhibit A: He moved his family to a military base, dude is the biggest coward to ever exists.

If Trump proactively pardons Hegseth, the solution is to signal either to the ICC or the country of origin of the murdered men that we will honor extradition requests on this point.

And then, in something of an irony, Noem him out of the country before anyone can react.
Historical precedent of note...

Hegseth is a war criminal and I think it doesn’t get the attention it deserves because he’s also stupid and it’s hard to reconcile the gravity of his crimes with his clownish persona www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

Strong message from Congressman Moulton:

“Mark my words: It may take some time, but Americans will be prosecuted for this, either as a war crime or outright murder.”

The moment where they send the second missile to kill the survivors is, quite literally, a moment-by-moment documentation of a very specific war crime.

Den Haag doesn't have the death penalty, we do. And while I'm generally opposed to capital punishment, I can make an exception for crimes against humanity.
Handing Hegseth over to The Hague is the moderate position.
Also recognize that this unambiguous use of the military to commit murder of helpless noncombatants as they fought for life is a direct reflection of the virulent white supremacy that has seized our government, where every Latino man is a gangbanger in a de facto state of war against White America

Q: Do you plan to attend Sarah's funeral?

TRUMP: I haven't thought about it yet, but it's certainly something I can conceive of. I love West Virginia. You know, I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere.
