Interesting to see. I guess I still had a latent perception that the Coast Guard is barely considered for these responsibilities. But it is nice to see the first Coastie also sharing the honour of being the first female WH military aid.

Which raises a question: was there ever a "football" aide documented as hailing from the Coast Guard?
