Finally, there's not many recovery cards that involve coin flips. Almost all that do only get you back 1 card, so they don't help you avoid decking out. Enter Claw Machine, which gets you 0 to 4 cards back. Worse than Super Rod... except the few times it isn't! (stock art + Pokeball by Okusu on DA)

Second, they've never printed any special Energy that interact with coin flips. So I made one! Chaos Energy can help keep the game moving along even if players are unlucky with coin flips... at a cost! (Art by... me!)

After wanting to try cube for years, I'm building a Pokémon TCG cube themed around coin flips! Got my card list mostly done, but there were a few things missing. So I made them myself! First, a revamp of the infamous Chaos Gym (art by Keiji Kinebuchi) w/ updated wording + a shuffle-back clause.

It uses a (barely) simplified version of it. Still a NINE-step headache. I wudn't do it at all if we weren't playing on Roll20, w/ char sheets that do most of those steps for you.
PTU's fidelity to the video games (where a 🤖 does all the math) is both its greatest strength & weakness
