I stared out the window a little, ranted about the American health care system & Taylor Swift quite a lot, and have done 500 words on the other project. I would like more on the other project tonight - 2500 words is an embarrassment for a retreat day - but we're going out to dinner, so probably not.

Up to about 1500, stopped for a sociable lunch. Question of the hour: what boardgame would you like to develop?
Bafflingly, everyone else had a ready answer for this. I don't play boardgames & have NO no idea, like I knew it was coming to be my turn & I was just like, I'm sorry, I got *nothing*!

Except I forgot that I'd be cooking highly-scented food every other day & that I cannot rewear clothes that smell to my very sensitive nose like yesterday's dinner.
So I'm up early, doing laundry 🙃
(a friend: well, who would plan for that?
me: I mean. I was the one who chose my recipes, so...🤦♀️)

And they rang that bell today, 31 times. For the 29 on the Edmund Fitzgerald, one for all Great Lakes shipwreck victims, and once for Gordon Lightfoot.

One more skeet for Edmund Fitzgerald Day. Behind this historical marker is the famed Whitefish Bay. Today the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum in Paradise, Mich., rang the recovered bell 31 times, 29 for the victims of the wreck, once for all Great Lakes shipwreck victims, and once for Gordon Lightfoot.
