Love poppies. I have just bought poppy cushion covers to brighten the sun lounge( we don't always see that sun much at the moment...roll on summer!)

It snowed quite heavily again in east Shropshire but is icy under the snow on the lanes. Neighbour has been out shovelling grit across the lane on the slight hillside.

This was this morning. The last picture was an hour ago so melting fast. Sky turned blue and cleared so I think we are in for a hard frost tonight... that's the Nasturtiums gone then! They have been like the Truffids out there!

The clouds lifted, and the sun finally came through late afternoon in east Shropshire. The clouds are gathering again, but the sunset is looking good. This is the same view that I posted this morning but 'What a difference a day makes...'🎶🎵

After the rain...Here in east Shropshire, everything was bathed in glowing sunlight so low in the sky and a glorious sunset half an hour later.

It is looking somewhat autumnal today when I escaped out between rain showers. Pretty though, but I am already missing Summer ( such as it was!)

I went for a walk through the Shropshire village where I live today. First time for a while. The maize was taller than me, and the field of sunflowers was spectacular. I was glad of the bench by the pool, though!
