Open enrollment starts tomorrow.

People are already seeing premiums skyrocket.

One Coloradan’s monthly costs will go from $35 to almost $900.

Republicans need to reopen the government and address this crisis they created.

Food assistance is ending for millions of Americans because of the shutdown.

Kids are about to go to school hungry.

It's absolutely cruel.

Republicans need to end this shutdown.

Speaker Johnson’s current argument is “we are going to withhold SNAP benefits unless Democrats let us massively increase health care costs.”

His orders from Trump are clear: enrich Trump’s family and billionaire donors by kicking millions off of Medicaid and stripping food assistance from children.

Unreal.

Millions of Americans can’t pay for health care & are losing food benefits.

Republicans can’t even bother to show up for work.

They don’t care about working people.

Fantastic news: a US judge has blocked the Trump administration from suspending SNAP benefits.

The courts continue to show that Trump and his cronies are acting outside of the law, and we will keep fighting against their cruel, illegal efforts.

For weeks, I’ve been demanding the Trump administration use contingency funding for critical SNAP benefits that keep families fed.

Now, the courts are requiring it. To Donald Trump and Republicans: get back to work and stop messing with Americans’ lives.

I served and put my life on the line to protect the free speech rights of my fellow Americans, some of whom I disagree with. That’s who we are as a country.

Trump is now trying to silence critics. That’s not what I fought for.

I won't remain silent.

As a paratrooper who led an infantry platoon in Iraq, I often think about the men who fought with me for our country.

Paratroopers have a tradition—the leader of the unit jumps out of the plane first. Then others follow.

I’m ready to jump.
