We have Whitehaven, Cleator, Egremont, Frizington to name a few but the best/worst is Kirkland, where 2 gt. grand uncles were murdered in 1871! 😳

The one in the old Blacksmiths? My husband’s 2 x gt. grandfather was a blacksmith at one time in Caldbeck but not sure if it was at that one.

It certainly is - gave me two more children’s names as well as where he lived when he died, which in itself gave me the connection between Flintshire and Cheshire that I’ve been researching.
